One of the biggest barriers to education is the cost of tuition. As part of our work to make B.E.C.A. as accessible as possible, we have scholarships available to assist with student tuition.
When applying to Lane Community College, there will be scholarship resources that are available for all applicants in any field through the FAFSA. The scholarships below are for energy management applicants (Energy Management with Building Controls Majors) specifically.
What Scholarships Are Available?
The Energy Trust of Oregon, 6 scholarships up to $5,000 each .
This scholarship covers roughly half of all tuition costs.
Qualifications: People of color are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.
How to Apply: This application will be through the Lane Community College Foundation, and will be available to you after applying to LCC. Please contact Roger Ebbage for details and the application.
The Demonstration of Energy & Efficiency Developments (DEED) Program, $2000 per scholarship.
Qualifications: Student applicants must be attending or planning to attend an accredited vocational institution, lineworker school or two to four-year college/university within the U.S. and must not be graduating within 12 months of the application deadline.
Deadline: February 15th, October 15th

Eugene Water and Electric Board, $5000 total for 2-4 Students
Qualifications: Open to all students pursuing a degree at Lane Community College.
How to Apply: This application will be through the Lane Community College Foundation, and will be available to you after applying to LCC.
The Council on Women in Energy & Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) Program, $1000 per scholarship.
